Our Black boy arrived with Trinity from Betty Payne of Pyret in Australia. What an incredible boy, he has fantastic large upright ears and the glossiest Black true to the roots coat. Neo also has a wonderful profile and his whisker pads are nice and full, just the look I wanted.
Neo was only the second Russian Black to grace our shores, the other arrived well over 15 years ago and sadly she was never bred from. Neo has ended his breeding career but remains with us as our own Black Pantha.
Neo has produced some very special Black babies with Sky in 2007. One of his son's from this litter achieved the highest title of Supreme Premier as well as becoming a Regional Qualifier for 2009 in Johannesburg. On that high note I ended the Russian Black breeding program here in South Africa. Neo had other idea's about ending the Black's in South Africa. My White girl Poppet managed to get herself pregnant to him (as a teaser tom) and gave us a litter of all girls, one Blue, one White masking Blue and two Black - Carol in Durban will continue the Black in South Africa!
With breeding Black to a Blue one will get 50% solid Black Russians and 50% solid Blue Russians in the litter.
